Fried Rice

If you are ever hungry and you have some left over rice from the previous day try making fried rice, its incredibly simple and you do not need many ingredients. I used ham and eggs in this version, if you have some spring onions it is good but otherwise just use some normal onion and a few cloves of garlic. Nothing could really get simpler than that!

I suggest using an iron utensil for stir frying that does not have a very thick bottom otherwise you will not achieve good success on a domestic gas stove. High heat is the key to all good stir frying.

I make fried rice quite often, but use a lot of veggies and some chicken strips. Its a great healthy and light meal!

@ Nita : Indeed, but its seldom a light meal at a restaurant. So just keep making your own!

    @ Priyank : Something Something Soy-Sauce indeed!

@ Naveen : I know a guy who just orders fried rice and nothing else each time he goes out to eat.
